Inspired by the honus (turtles) that I’ve seen on the island of Maui. The sea turtles presence can spark excitement, calmness or sometimes reminds one to be patient - to swim slowly through the waters. Whatever it may be, the sea turtles always have a way with opening our hearts and minds to learn and understand more about their world in hopes to help them recover from the mess we’ve created. In this painting, I’ve added plumeria flowers to remind you about where this painting derives from. The one and only Hawaii.
